The Main Purpose
1.Commonly used in conjunction with corrosive plastics. Best corrosion resistance obtained in a hardened and low tempered condition with a polished surface.
2.Mainly used in plastic mould requiring very fine (mirror) polishing, and also for fine cutlery, surgery cutting tools and razor blades.
The Main Characteristic
1. 1.2083 is a chromium alloyed plastics mould stainless steel, which is characterised by good polishability, good hardenability giving high hardness, with fair corrosion resistance.
2. ESR grade available for higher polishability requirements.
3. Corrosion-resistant plastic mould steel for processing chemically aggressive injection-moulding compounds, with good polishing and machining properties.
